The Arrow Of The Dawn by Lachland-Nightingale The Arrow Of The Dawn by Lachland-Nightingale
Continuing with rilllllly old art - April 1982...Just before or after first Animation design gig with Ruby-Spears, but still new - she was originally some sort of elf-halfling-? - turned her feline about a year ago...alternate universes....also digi painted over a couple thousand ink lines, and gave her a dress. Original version was nude...will probably post that eventually. What's old is new again...

Bits of VaughnBode, Micheal Kaluta, Roger Dean, and Frank Frazetta influence - homage...

Crow-quill pens and India Ink on rough art paper
Dr.Martin's clear water colors and Prismacolor pencils

approx 11 1/2 x 9 (?)

Digi mods done in PaintshopPro7 and PainterX

Thanks! ^_^

The original version was sort of awkward (e.g.,not a good face on elf/fairy, black outlines on background, etc.) but had nice elements...Digi revision sometimes a good thing...
