Just a pic from August 1978, from a largist sketch book (10x15 inches or so) - crowquill pen and ink with clear water colours...The red white and blue colour scheme has nothing to do with the U.S. or France etc etc....

Jean Giraud "Moebius" had done some paintings/illos published in "Metal Hurant"/"Heavy Metal" that used a bold tri-colour background wall..i had done some sketches of android girls with these sort of bell-bottom curves feets, and other anthro pics wiff antlers....

The border was redone digitally cuz the original wasn't quite square due to the paper of the sketchbook being cut a little off, but otherwise this is true to the original, and it was dang hard to keep those big colour fills within the lines...

And, yes back then my 'nom de plume' was "ananda" (Sanskrit for "Bliss") hence the small "a" signet that is on the pics from '75 - '82 ...
